The best of Italian agri-food excellence is coming to Brussels with two evening events celebrating a symbolic pairing: Prosciutto di San Daniele DOP and Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP will be featured on Thursday, November 20 and Saturday, November 22, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Gare Maritime Food Market, one of the most popular gastronomic venues in the Belgian capital.
These events are part of a series of promotional activities supported by MASAF, aimed at enhancing the visibility of two EU-recognized PDO products in the Belgian market—products that embody tradition, quality, and certified origin.
During both evenings, guests will be invited to enjoy the “Italian Aperitivo”, a simple and immediate format offering free tastings of both products. The pairing brings together two regions and two cultures under the common values of quality production, certified supply chains, and origin protection.
Gare Maritime, located in the heart of Tour & Taxis, offers the perfect contemporary setting to showcase the value of Italian products in a space that reflects today’s food culture and consumer trends.
Staff on-site will guide guests through a storytelling experience that highlights the importance of Protected Designations of Origin, the connection between product and territory, and the added value of certified supply chains.
With these two events, the Consortium of Prosciutto di San Daniele and the Consortium of Mozzarella di Bufala Campana reaffirm their shared commitment to promoting Italy’s finest agri-food products, fostering a food culture rooted in authenticity, identity, and quality.
